Camel Rock is one of the most fascinating natural attractions in Dubai and so we have decided to build an adventure around it. Also known as Jebel Maleihah or Fossil Rock, Camel Rock is a monolith that looms over the desert that is studded with fossils, some of which are believed to date back more than eighty million years. It is located around an hour from Dubai, just off the Hatta Road.
Our Camel Rock Desert Safari starts with dune bashing at the site in a SUV 4x4 off-road New Vehicle as well as a sightseeing tour. For your safety, the dune bashing is conducted by one of our experienced and licensed drivers. We also offer Quad Biking and Sand Boarding as options upon your request. And once the sun sets, you can have your photo taken against the towering backdrop of Castle Rock as a souvenir of your adventure.
When evening falls, we will continue the adventure at our desert camp, where you can enjoy a luxurious buffet dinner of international cuisine, with delicious barbecue as the featured dish. We also provide complimentary refreshments such as unlimited coffee and tea, with cold water and soft drinks also available. After supper, you can avail of a henna tattoo session or you can dress up in traditional Arabian garb for a photo opportunity. We also invite you to avail of a camel ride, so that you can experience what it’s like riding on the back of one of these “ships of the desert”. It is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience that lets you see the desert in a whole new light.
